Good Riddance January FWF

Welcome to this last Friday FWF in January!
Ready to see this month in the rearview mirror
and hoping February is somewhat kinder to us!

Head over to UNITY'S BLOG to see
what's up for lots of wonderful inspiration!

This card is for a family from church who
had a baby boy in January.
Sentiment is from the Happy Everything set.
Papers are all Echo Park's Little Boy line.

Made this next card for dd2 & her fiancé.
They will be living in Hawaii after they
get married in April. Thought the flip flops
from this Itty Bitty were perfect for them.
Sentiment is from a Samantha Walker set.

The card was inspired by the Mix-Ability
Challenge "Warm Up" at SCS to use warm colors.
The details are in this post HERE.

Supplies:
TH Distress paints
Watercolor paper
Plastic packaging, StazOn ink
Alcohol inks by Ranger
Simon Says Stamp black ink
TH linen ribbon

As always, thanks for stopping by
and have a blessed weekend!

Mix-Ability Warm Up Challenge

I, for one, am glad for a Warm Up
challenge!  We need all the help we can get
here in MN.  Just got back from AZ and
I'm missing the sun and warmth.

My card is for DD and her fiancĂ©
who will live in Hawaii after they
get married. Thought this was the
perfect look for the happy couple!

I used TH Distress paints on
watercolor paper and then
misted it with water and rolled
a paper towel over it before
drying it with my heat tool.

I stamped the flops on plastic
packaging with black StazOn ink.
I flipped it over before adding
alcohol inks for some color
because the alcohol ink takes the
StazOn right off the plastic.

Head over to SCS to check out the
to use warm colors on your project!

Crazy Cold FWF!

Wow, are we ever having winter
here in MN! Blizzard warning all
day yesterday, 30+ mph winds so the snow
is blowing like crazy and way below
zero windchills. Why do we live here?!

BUT....great day to stay inside and
play with paper and ink! There is a
bright side! :) check out Unity's BLOG
for details!

Last week I completely forgot about
my bil's birthday, this card will be
going to him tomorrow. I used a LOL
set for the background stamping on this card.
The car and sentiment are from an
old Ippity set, Authentic Man.
Got the sketch & colors from Unity's
Be Inspired challenge HERE.

I made these cards from leftover name tags
from last weekend's retreat. I used the BeInspired
Sketch for my layout inspiration.
Used the Trust in the Lord Itty Bitty.

Thanks for stopping by,
have a great weekend!

Unity's Weekly FWF

Glad time is flying by this week.
I've been busy getting ready for a
Retreat for the women of my church.
Going to have a great time!
Check out Unity Stamp Co's Blog
for Hop details!

 Of course I used Unity
for these projects....the snowflakes
from the Magical Layers of Life set.
Fun little bags of peanut
M & Ms for everybody.

Got a gift certificate to give away
So made the envelope to match the labels.
The verse is from an old Ippity set and the
mug was in a grab bag I won.

Used an Itty Bitty to make these name
tags for the retreat. Their names
will go on the other side.

Needed a card for my lifelong friend
whose birthday was yesterday.
I just love this little girl with
her tall cake from Mo's Digital Pencil!
Used Balloons to You Itty Bitty
for the sentiment, I seem to grab this
one A LOT! Used Copics to color her.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
