My Favorite Things Get Sketchy Challenge 191

Couldn't resist linking up with this
MFT Sketch Challenge today. Had time on a damp,
chilly day to play in my studio!

Here is the sketch we had to work with:

And here is my take on it:

I added my stripes of stash and CC dp
and then embossed the entire front of my
card with a Cuttlebug polka dot folder.

I stamped the sentiment from
MFT Cheerful Blessings
onto a 2" punched circle
and then punched 3 more circles from
thin white cardboard packaging. Gluing these
all together makes the circle stand out nicely.
I stamped 2 hearts, added 6 sequins, tied a bow with
Lion Brand cord and I'm all finished.

So here are all the cards I made during this year's Stamp-A-Faire

I really enjoyed all the videos and techniques!

Next year I will get someone to join me for the fun!

PTI Renaissance Challenge

Check out the video for this challenge!
Love the stamping on velvet, I am going
to have to find some and give this a try.
I did do the embossed monogram for the
wax seal part of the challenge. You can
see both videos HERE.

The sentiment is from the
Bigger Blooms set.
Can you see the T for our last name
in the center of the SB die cut?!
DCWV Old World Stack provided
the perfect paper.

Stamp-A-Faire Morning Timer Challenge

my mom used for picnics!

PTI #177 Cover Plate Negatives

The PTI challenge this week is
to use the negative of a die plate.
I used the Happy Birthday plate
because it is the only one I own!

I love die cutting, don't know why...
it's just so cool!
I used old, old Cosmo Cricket pp
and some MS cs.
Added some cord and jewels and all done.

Of course I had to make a card out of the
actual die cut as well:

I swiped my Evergreen Bough DI pad
Across the ivory Recollections cs.
Again added cord and jewels.

Thanks for stopping by!

PTI Background with Embossing Paste

Make it Monday #176 at
PAPERTREY INK is all about using
embossing paste on the background of your card.

After it was dry I placed the stencil back over the
design and inked it with my Hero Arts Soft
Vanilla Ink pad. Colored word and red strips with
Pale Tomato ink pad. Yellow strip with Soft Vanilla ink pad.
