I had a bit of time Wednesday to make a card

and of course I used Unity stamps!

This one is for the Be Inspired Challenge,

used the sketch and the colors,

minus the rose, to make this for

DH's birthday yesterday.

Two Itty Bittys:

Balloons to You &

Key to My Heart
I used TH Black Soot Distress
embossing powder.  After heating,
you rub some of it off to give it an
aged look....I think I like it!

SSS Big Stamp Monday Challenge

Here is my second card

for the SSS Monday Challenge.

I used the same BIG stamp from

Unity, Distressed Dots. I inked it

up with the same Soft Vanilla ink 

from Hero Arts.

I applied Hero Arts Pale Tomato 

ink with the cap of a marker to 

get the red circles.

Next I cut around some hexagons

from this pp from lilybeedesigns and

popped them up from the card to

add some dimension.

The second big stamp here is from

Think Big Favorites, Papertrey Ink,

stamped with Hero Arts Blackboard.

Today is both DH's and dear Dad's

birthdays, this card is for my dad.

SSS Monday Challenge-Big Stamp

Post wedding time to play...

before we get into field work.

Feels so good to create, get my

fingers inky and get some cards

in the mail to people I need to appreciate!

Simon's Monday Challenge is to grab a BIG

stamp so I reached for my Unity

Distressed Dots and Hero Arts

Soft Vanilla ink.  Love the combo

for a soft background.

Here is a card for my friend's

daughter's bridal shower coming

up on Saturday. Used a paper

straw left over from DD2's wedding.

The stamps are from Papertrey Ink,

Sketched Shapes & Bigger Blooms.

Flowers are cut with matching dies.

from DD2's wedding last Saturday, too!

backdrop from strips of fabric.

Spring it is, but we've got several inches 

of snow as I write this on Thursday...

and it is still coming down.

Major sad face! Only a week and a

day till DD's wedding and we would

LOVE to have spring weather!!!!

Well, we can always celebrate FWF,
