Farewell February FWF

Welcome to Unity's weekly
Friends With Flair!
Details on the Unity blog HERE.

Quickly linking up, will add details
later. We are off to finalize our taxes.

This card is for the Unity color challenge.
All Echo Park For the Record 2 papers.
Used an Itty Bitty stamped with
SSS chalkboard ink.
Used a flower stamp from a
grab bag on the background.

For my second card,
I used Distress markers on the Chicken Wire
background stamp, misted it with water and
stamped it onto watercolor paper.
Cut the sentiment on my Silhouette.

02.21.14 FWF

Welcome to our usual Friday date-FWF
with Unity gals! Check out their blog
HERE for lots of other projects and a
HUGE sale!

I shamelessly cased these tags from
Laura Bassen. I used my Silhouette
to cut these and of course had to make two.
I adhered 2 tags together to turn them into cards.
Used a couple Layers of Life stamps on the
backgrounds and my fav happy birthday
sentiment from Balloons To You Itty Bitty.

I paper-pieced this one, watered colored her skin,
added a few sequins, a Unity sentiment and called it good!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a blessed weekend!

Happy Valentine FWF!

Wishing each of you who stop by today a
Happy Valentine's Day! DH came home last
night with a dozen roses!
Check out the Unity Blog for links
to lots of wonderful inspiration &
a chance to win prizes!
Here we go on valentine overload!

This one I designed for DD2 to give
to her aviation students. The heart is
Unity & the papers, etc. were a prize
I won at SSS. She drew the girl & airplane,
colored it with Copics, & emailed it to me.

I made several cards using this SB die
& used the different colored pieces
to inlay into the cards.
After gluing these pieces in, I glued acetate
into the card and glued my die cut back in place.

Inside you just have the floating pieces I
glued in through the die cut.

I inlaid the pieces into one
contrasting die cut.
All my valentines use the LOL sets
Never Ending Love & Full Circle Moment
This one also uses always & forever
from Generations.

On this one I glued the red and pink
pieces down inside 4 die cuts.

You can see I glued 3 red die cuts together
& added the white one on the top.

Have a great day and a blessed weekend.
We are helping out at our church's Art of Marriage
Retreat tonight and tomorrow.

Welcome to February FWF!

I love February! Once
we get this far into winter
here in MN we know we can
make it! The sun is stronger,
the days are longer and there
is more time to create while indoors!

Glad you stopped by on this
happy Friday. Check out the hop
details at Unity's Blog HERE.

 I have a Valentine
to share.  I am waaay behind,
this is actually the first one I've
made this year. Giving credit to
Jennifer McGuire for the inlay
idea. Check hers out HERE.

I used two different Layers
of Life sets.  The circle
in the middle of the SB die cut
is from Full Circle Moment.
I keep going back to this set.
the heat embossed hearts are from the
Never Ending Love set.
