Basic Grey Challenge 106

Awhile back I was able to purchase
one of Kristina Werner's product packages.
Totally worth the $12 shipping! One
of the things included was a complete
12 x 12 package of the BG Out of Print line!
Here is the card I made using those papers

The stamp is from Unity Stamp Co.
which I heat embossed. I colored the heart
in with a clear at you Spica pen and
the trims are from OA.

Elephant & Chickie

I sprained my ankle 3 weeks ago
so I've had some time to color while
elevating the foot!  Not the greatest
way to get down time but hey,
make the best of it, right?
I've had this Bugaboo image for
ages, it is called Edward Elephant-Flower.

I am linking this up to Oozak
Challenge Blog's
Anything Goes Challenge.
Oozak is where I usually get my markers.
The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set.

10.18.13 FWF

Happy Friday!
We are busy as ever with
harvest but it rained earlier
in the week so I had a
little time to make this
baby card for my nephew
& his wife.  They had their
first baby in August.

I used Unity's Life is a Verb
Itty Bitty. The papers are all
from Echo Park Little Boy.
I cut the word "baby" on my
Silhouette and pressed it onto
my Stormy Sky DI pad.
The.wagon is colored with Copics.
Added Glossy Accents to the red star.

Thanks for stopping by,

at the Unity blog HERE.

Crafting by Designs Challenge

Thought I'd enter this card into
CBD's Anything Goes challenge.
A friend of ours had surgery last
Monday so this went to him.

The image is from Bugaboo.
I used a Spellbinders die to cut the
window in the front of the card.
Used two dies to cut the frame.
I colored the image with Copics
and added Glossy Accents to the IV
bottle. The sentiment is from HL,
not sure which company and I'm
not going to go upstairs to look
because I sprained my ankle last week
and it is too much work to get up there!

Just an FYI to the dear DT:
Our dd2 got engaged a couple weeks ago
and will be getting married April 12!
You can see their  engagement pic on my
sidebar.  Miss chatting with all you sweet gals!!

Thanks for stopping by!

10.11.13 FWF

Happy FWF Friday, everyone.
I have a fun, happy card to share today.
Friends of ours have a son who
is a senior in high school this year.
He has Asperger Syndrome and is
such a great young man.
He was voted Homecoming
King by the student body last week!

Congrats, Matt, we are so proud of you!!

I used a leaf from the September Layers
of Life Tree of Gratitude set with VersaMark on the
background and the embossed sentiment is from
Ornate Artisan Stackers.  I cut the crown
on my Silhouette and inked it up
with Stormy Sky DI.  Added some bling!
I used my new Spellbinders Borderabilities
to cut the curve on the papers.

Be sure to stop by UNITY'S BLOG
for all the Hop details and prize info!

Have a great weekend!

10.04.13 FWF

Happy Friday, time for Unity's
FWF post.  I believe I've found a
card that I've never posted.
DH & I have been in the field all
week combining beans and I am canning
applesauce today so no time to play!
I also have BIG NEWS but will
save that for the end of my post!

This card was for a Unity sketch
Challenge earlier this year, I
think I missed the deadline!
I used one of the Layers of Life sets,
Paper Hearts.  The sentiment is from
Ornate Artisan Stackers.

Seems like I've made more sympathy
cards than anything else this year.
I used DI and water to make the background.
Check out the Unity blog for all today's
Hop details.

So what's the big news?
Our DD2 & her boyfriend
got engaged last Friday!
Here is the happy couple!

Looking at a wedding in April!
We are super excited for them,
they are wonderful people!

Thanks for stopping in today,
Have a great weekend!
