The weeks are flying by!

Super busy time here with

a house to paint,

huge lawn to mow,

and garden to weed. 

BUT....

 always gotta find the time

to make a couple cards

so I can play along

with Unity's FWF!

This card doesn't feel finished

but I can't decided what 

to add, either......

LOVE this Itty Bitty No Greater Love

For this next card,

I painted a piece of a mesh

bag that oranges come in

and brayered my paper over it.

(Next time I would

use more paint and

move the mesh onto a clean

surface before  pressing my

cs onto it.)

I stamped Bella Fiori flowers

and the It's A Good Day sentiment

using Memento rich cocoa ink

onto Martha Stewart cs.

Paper peiced the hearts,

added the twine and

called it finished!

This card all started with that

old "button"

my dh found in our field. 

There was an acreage where

he lived as a little boy and

every year he likes to walk around

to see what "treasures" might

have been unearthed by

the farm equipment when

we work the land.

As soon as I picked it up &

saw that it was flat,

I knew it was going to be stamped

with text and added to a card.

It seems like porcelain,

who knows how old it is!!!

I colored the flowers with Copics

and then stamped on them, too.

I free-handed the banner around

the sentiment.

Hoping the recipients like it!!

Made this for a dear friend whose birthday

is on the 4th.  It is also for a Copics Challenge

at SSC.  We were to use something that reminds

us of summer.  I grew up on a farm and

we kids rode bike every day!

The bike is from Feb. '11 KOM the best is yet to be.

And here is a simple little Owl Hello

card using scraps to paper-piece him.

I used yellow jewels for his eyes.

Check out how this picture turned out:
he has pupils in his eyes!!
Either there is a dot there on the stamp
which shows through the jewel
or it is a trick of the lighting!
