FWF, Color Throwdown #100 Card w/ Unity Sketch #15

I'm currently in Texas helping to move my dd to her new job but decided to play along today anyway! I posted this card earlier so I could enter it into Color Throwdown's 100th sketch celebration but wanted to share it with you Unity gals, too!

I made this card for Color Throwdown's current challenge celebrating their 100th color challenge. I used Amy Butler paper, Unity March & April '10 KOTM, Palette burnt umber ink, Cosmo Cricket chipboard and buttons and ribbon from my stash. The edge is punched with a Martha Stewart doily punch. I used Unity's Sketch Challenge #15.
Check out Unity's Blog for the entire list of who is playing along this week. Hope you enjoy/ed the hop and have a great weekend. I'll be busy moving dd into her new apartment!!

Welcome to Unity's FWF

Summer is flying by, isn't it? I wish I could slow it down. This week I have a wedding card and an anniversary card to share with you.

I used Unity's It's My Day set for the numbers, the word "so" is from Jan. '10 KOTM, (I love my stamp-a-ma-jig!) and the rest are from Fall For You, an {ippity} set. Paper is s.e.i. and ink is from Unity. The little tag is Miss Elizabeth and the ribbon is Offray. I paper-pieced the leaves and the love birds. (I love my EK Cutter Bee scissors!!)
My second card is for my ds and bil. Their initials are S and P so I thought this was especially fitting for them!

This is my card for both the Unity sketch challenge (HHSC14)and the Unity Addicts challenge #8 recipe to use two flowers, two buttons, and a bow.
I used my new Cosmo Cricket Early Bird set, Unity's Distressed Dots, HomeSew eyelet, buttons and cord from my stash and Palette burnt umber ink.

Have a great weekend, be sure to check out the list of everyone playing along today over at UNITY'S BLOG. Don't forget to watch for the "magic" blinkie so you have a chance at those 25 Unity stamps!!

Happy July FWF Hop!

What would Fridays be without our Unity Hop?!!! Love seeing everyone's creativity! For the entire list of those playing along check out Unity's Blog. And don't forget to watch for the blinkie, someone has it and you can win 25 new Unity stamps if you spot it!

This card is for a long-time friend whose dad passed away. I used the colors from the FWF31 challenge for my inspiration. Just wanted to remind her that the love her family shares will never end.

I used stamps from the April '10 KOTM and from {ippity}'s Because of You set. Stapled on some cord (WalMart), added an American Craft Thickers parentheses, and some machine-stitching. I used my Martha Stewart edge punch, and a couple layers of Paper Studio kraft and textured cs, Wausau Papers turquoise cs, and a scrap from my stash. Ink is ColorBox scarlett & cyan, and Unity's black.
Next stop on the Hop is CAROLE. I'm sure she created something awesome, even with her finger in a splint!!
Have a GREAT 4th of July weekend! We will be enjoying time with our oldest home for a couple weeks. She is in between moving from Washington state to Texas. We will be having lots of wonderful time together!!
